2.4360 / Monel 400 has exceptional resistance to neutral and alkaline salt solutions. This alloy is one of the few metallic materials that can be used in contact with fluorine, hydrofluoric acid, hydrogen fluoride or their derivatives. 2.4360 / Monel 400 has been a standard material for many years. The material has good mechanical properties from sub-zero temperatures up to 550 ° C and is free of stress-corrosion cracking caused by chloride.
